Lindsey Lee is a Mississippi born, Nashville based artist and songwriter. Growing up in a musical home, the daughter of a traveling music minister and a classical vocal/piano teacher, her parents’ personal collection of records saturated Lindsey’s childhood with the sounds of pop, soul, r&b, rock, classical, country, and gospel. With all of that variety engraved in her soul, Lindsey Lee is a human jukebox and genre chameleon, with a series of life events and experiences equally as eclectic as her musical influences. From garnering over 7.5 million views on her Youtube Channel, to traveling the world as a backup singer for Miley Cyrus, to signing an exclusive worldwide publishing deal with Round Hill Music, Lindsey is certainly no stranger to big dreams becoming a reality. In September of 2013, legendary rockstar Steven Tyler attended a songwriter’s round at the iconic Bluebird Cafe where Lindsey was performing. That night, Lindsey played her song “Love Is Your Name” and it caught Tyler's ear. Fast forward to May of 2015, Tyler recorded “Love Is Your Name” and released it as the lead single from his debut country album “We’re All Somebody From Somewhere”. In September of 2015, Lindsey and her co-writer Eric Paslay joined Tyler in New York City to perform “Love Is Your Name” on “Front & Center: CMA Songwriter Series”. In 2016 Lindsey’s song “The Storm” was featured on the CW series “Reign” and the SYFY series “Wynona Earp”. In 2017, Lindsey’s song “I Want It All” was featured in the trailer for the CW show “Dynasty” and in 2018, she landed a worldwide Old Navy commercial featuring her song “Offbeat”. Artists who have cut and released songs written by Lindsey include Steven Tyler, Katherine McPhee, Sabrina Carpenter, Lauren Alaina, Jordan Feliz, DJ Antoine, Katherine McNamara, Maggie Rose, Everlife, Mae Valley, Scvrcina, Sophie Beem, MAIBA, Temara Melek, Livy Jeanne, Tori Darke, Jess and the Bandits, Donica Knight, Chandler Stephens, Ashla Taylor, Shaina Rhodes, and Allie Louise. Lindsey has had her own music featured on promos for American Idol, Modern Family, Super Fun Night, Blackish, Dynasty, and HGTV’s Fixer Upper, and featured in the series' Reign and Wynona Earp. You can also hear Lindsey’s background vocals on some prominent studio albums (Nick Carter, Jana Kramer, Sabrina Carpenter, Steven Curtis Chapman). Lindsey’s song “I Can’t Wait” is featured in the upcoming Disney film “Magic Camp” set to be released in 2020.
